In 2014, we embarked on a web-based adventure to teach Māori weaving techniques online using a proven method called The Matrix® developed by renowned Māori artists and teachers - Erenora Puketapu-Hetet and Veranoa Hetet.

This structured program of learning was designed following decades of teaching people from diverse backgrounds and varied abilities

The Matrix® set a template for approaching the teaching of Sales, Marketing and Business Administration online to artists.

And so, the Get Your Art Sold! Method was born.

Lillian Hetet Owen (daughter of Māori artists Erenora Puketapu-Hetet and Rangi Hetet) spent more than a decade exhibiting and selling art through the family gallery. She also founded several gallery-gift stores that she successfully operated for 6 years - selling art and handcrafted items to thousands of people from all over the world.

With a background in Adult education and many years spent as a professional trainer, Lillian brings a special combination of personal experience. skills and knowledge to members of the GYAS! (Get Your Art Sold!) community.
